Buhari receives second dose of COVID-19 vaccine

365Daily – President Muhammadu Buhari has received the second dose of the AstraZeneca/Oxford COVID-19 Vaccine.

This took place on Saturday, May 29, 2021, at the State House, Abuja, as stated on the official Twitter account of the Presidency.

“President @MBuhari receives the second dose of the AstraZeneca/Oxford #COVID19 Vaccine, at the State House, on May 29, 2021. #AsoVillaToday #YesToCovid19Vaccine,” the tweet read.

Buhari had in March, 2021, received the first dose of the vaccine which was administered to him by his personal physician, Dr. Suhayb Sanusi.

“As a demonstration of leadership and faith in the safety and efficacy of the vaccines, I have received my first jab and I wish to commend it to all eligible Nigerians to do the same so that we can be protected from the virus,” Buhari had said.
