Insecurity: Pastor Okotie disagrees with Adefarasin over escape plan

…Says only hirelings run

365Daily – Pastor Chris Okotie, popular Pentecostal church leader and founder of Lagos State based Household of God Church International Ministries, has faulted the call by Pastor Paul Adefarasin of House on the Rock Ministries, for Nigerians to consider relocation over the rising insecurity in the country.

Pastor Okotie said running away from Nigeria is not a viable option as it won’t bring the required solution to insecurity.

Rather, he continued, it’ is “time to take the battle to the gate!”, adding “… the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. Daniel 11:32 KJV.

“The hireling runs but the true shepherd repels the canine monstrosity of the old fox.” He said.

Adefarasin, Senior Pastor of House on the Rock Church, had recently, in what many consider as controversial, told members of his congregation to have a plan B, which he suggested, is an exit plan from Nigeria, as the nation is no longer safe.

Pastor Adefarasin had in a video recorded  during his sermon in his church last Sunday, May 9, 2021, said: “If you don’t have a plan B. I know you have faith, I have faith too but I have a plan B.

“With technology, I can speak to you from anywhere in the world.

“Get yourself a plan B. Whether that’s an Okada to Cameroon or a flying boat to Seme Border. A hole in the ground, a bunker as we call it. Just get yourself a plan B. Because these people are crazy. They are nutters. The whole bunch of them. And watch the signs because it can happen, just like.”

However, in an obvious disagreement with his colleague pastor, Okotie made allusion to the biblical story of David and Goliath, where a “smaller” David defeated a giant adversary, Goliath.

He said” David faced Goliath. Some trust in chariots and horses as veritable escapist instrumentality. But we will remember the name of the Lord..

“No uncircumcised Philistine will annex the inheritance of the saints in light in Nigeria.

“Our God is Jehovah Sabaoth, the mighty God Almighty. Of whom shall we be afraid?

“Jesus Christ, Jehovah-Victor, is the Ark of God and leads his army. Arise! Arise!, soldiers of the cross.
Time to take the battle to the gate!!”
