365Daily – Residential and Commercial customers of Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) under the Non Maximum Demand (Non-MD) category now stand the chance of enjoying up to 30% discount on their arrears in the “Arrears One-Time Settlement Scheme (OTS Scheme)”.
EEDC urged its customers to take advantage of the “generous and rare opportunity” to clear their accumulated arrears.
This was disclosed on Thursday, April 22, 2021, by the agency’s Head of Corporate Communications, Emeka Ezeh, in Enugu.
According to Ezeh, the initiative, which is designed to run for a three-month period, takes effect from the 22nd of April, 2021, and is specifically targeted at Non-MD customers with arrears incurred as at 31st December, 2020.
“To benefit from this scheme, you are to make a one-time full payment of your arrears and enjoy 30% discount.
“Interested customers are advised to visit the Manager (Customer Service) at the EEDC District Office nearest to them to obtain full details of the One-Time Settlement Scheme,” he stated.
