Dino Melaye, former Kogi West Senator has said Governor Yahaya Bello is using his 2023 presidential ambition to shield attention from the looting of the state’s funds and failure of his government.
Melaye spoke while cautioning Nigerians against taking the presidential ambition of Bello seriously, accused him of deceiving and distracting people of the State.
Melaye who said this in a tweet on Monday, February 8, 2021, added that at “the right time we will burst his bubble.”
“Governor Bello is deceiving and distracting all those who take him seriously on the phantom presidential ambition to shield attention from the colossal and unprecedented stealing and failure of his wasted years in Kogi State. At the right time we will burst his bubble. SDM.” Melaye tweeted.
This is coming at a time when Yahaya Bello’s presidential campaign surfaced online after youth campaign groups have been backing the move, such as the GYB2PYB who recently launched an office in Abuja with co-ordinator appointed for the 36 states including the FCT.
And his campaign posters have recently been cited in some states like Damataru, Yobe State.
The campaign posters had the inscription “Yahaya Bello for President, change 2023.”
