A statement issued by Gombe’s Secretary to the State Government, Ibrahim Njodi, conveyed the governor’s approval on Saturday.
Misilli, until his new appointment, was the spokesperson of the Governor. He also served as Senior Special Assistant in the media teams of two former Speakers of the House of Representatives; Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal and Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara, respectively.
Similarly, the state’s chief executive also approved the appointment of Kabir Mohammed as Director General, Gombe Media Corporation (GMC).
Some Special Assistants were also promoted to Senior Special Assistants. They are Jack A. Tasha – Senior Special Assistant (Office of the Deputy Governor); Bintu Aliyu Sunmonu – SSA Media (Assigned to Office of the First Lady) and Sulaiman Musa Arzoo – SSA New Media.
