Gbajabiamila announces 3 new House Committees

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, has unveiled 3 new Committees of the House, bringing the total number of its Standing Committees to 105.

Gbajabiamila made the announcement during Thursday plenary.

The new committees are House Committee on Host Communities; House Committee on Disabilities and Science Research Institute. 

He further disclosed the leaders of the committees as follows: House Committee on Host Communities to be headed by Hon. Dum Dekor (PDP, Rivers) and the Deputy Chairman is Hon. Ikenna Elezianya (PDP, Imo); House Committee on Disabilities to be chaired by Hon. Miriam Onuoha (APC, Imo) and Longcap Komsol (APC, Plateau), Deputy Chairman and House Committee on Science Research Institutes to be headed by Hon. Olaide Akinremi Jagaban (APC, Oyo) and Hon. Jafaar Mohammed (APC, Niger) as Deputy Chairman.

The Speaker also announced Hon. Kolapo Osunsanya (APC, Ogun) as the Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Science and Technology.
