Kebbi Geographic Information Service sets N1bn revenue target for 2025

Already the agency’s self set revenue target has so far generated twenty five million naira to boost the revenue drive of the state with a sustained efforts to reach the target of one billion naira

Kebbi State Geographic Information Service, KEBGIS, a subsidiary of Kebbi State Ministry of Lands and Housing, has said that in her efforts to jerk up revenue generation in the state has set a target of one billion naira in the year 2025.

The new general manger of the agency, Alhaji Bashiru Bakuwai, made the disclosure in his office during a press conference organised by the agency to highlight strategic plans which are geared towards helping Governor Nasir Idris government in boosting internally generated revenue amid dwindling economy.

Bakuwai stated that, the agency is responsible for issuance of certificate of occupancy C-of-O, recertification of lands, leases, under leases and sub leases, systematic property registration , processing and registration of lands transactions among others.

He disclosed that already the agency’s self set revenue target has so far generated twenty five million naira to boost the revenue drive of the state with a sustained efforts to reach the target of one billion naira.

While commending the governor of Kebbi State, Dr. Nasir Idris for upgrading him from project manager to general manager of the agency, pledged to work hard to meet demands of the agency and Kebbi government.
