This kind gesture of Senator Wamakko by donating the motorcycles, which will surely boost the activities of the board smoothly

In his effort to ensure peaceful co-existence and community development in the state, APC leader in the Sokoto State, Senator Aliyu Wamakko has donated 10 motorcycles to the Sokoto State Hizba Board.
This initiative aimed to support their efforts in promoting Islamic ethics, character, and conduct within society.
His spokesman, Bashar Abubakar, in a statement said this generous donation was made in fulfillment of a promise Senator Wamakko made to the board when they paid him a courtesy visit at his Gawon Nama residence in Sokoto.
Representing the Senator, Executive Secretary of Arabic and Islamic Education Board Sokoto, Alhaji Ahmad Baba Altine, described the Senator as a leader who always carried his people over his shoulder through his numerous developments to the nooks and crannies of the state and beyond.
He thanked Senator Wamakko for fulfilling this promise and prayed for the long life and prosperity of Senator Wamakko.
In his remark, Senior Special Assistant on Mobilization to Governor Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto, Abdulmajid Sa’ad Haruna Gobir, appreciated the Governor for reviving the Hizba board in the state, where he charged them to utilize the motorcycle for the benefit of all.
Director General of the Hizba Board, Malam Nura Attajiri, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko for this marvelous gesture, which he revealed as the first kind of donation to the board.
Attajiri said the board will ensure that the motorcycles will be used for patrol purposes, ensuring peace and unity in the state.
Chairman of the Board, Dr. Rufa’i Usman Rungumi, represented by a member of the board, Malam Nafi’u Malami Dan Haja, revealed this kind gesture of Senator Wamakko by donating the motorcycles, which will surely boost the activities of the board smoothly.
On his vote of thanks, the Commandant of the Board, Usman Abdullahi Jatau, appreciated Senator Wamakko and expressed optimism that people will help the board achieve its goals by emulating Wamakko’s gesture as the first individual who helped the board.
He commended Governor Ahmed Aliyu for the opportunity to serve the state.
The highlight of the event was the handing over of the 10 motorcycles to the board by some aids of Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko.
