365Daily – Renowned musician Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has been seen shopping at a hair store with his new partner, Natasha Osawuru.
The public appearance follows his family’s recent expression of concern over his whereabouts. A viral video shared on Friday captured 2Baba and Osawaru casually browsing through hair products.
This development comes after reports that 2Baba’s family filed a petition with the Department of State Services (DSS), claiming the singer was missing.
His mother, Rose Idibia, publicly appealed to Osawaru to stay away from her son, noting that his divorce from his estranged wife, Annie Idibia, is still pending.
According to Rose, the ongoing divorce proceedings have left 2Baba emotionally distressed.
The shopping sighting follows another viral clip from Thursday, which showed 2Baba proposing to Osawaru. In the video, the singer is seen dancing with the politician before presenting her with a ring and sharing an embrace amid cheers from friends.
The proposal video surfaced shortly after 2Baba confirmed his relationship with Osawuru in an Instagram post, which sparked heated conversations on social media. Addressing the growing backlash, he said, “I have seen so many false narratives and malicious nonsense since I posted what I posted. Yes, I posted it.”
“Hon. Natasha has been dragged and labelled a home breaker, but she had nothing to do with what’s happening between me and Annie. She’s a brilliant, amazing woman. Yes, I love her, and I want to marry her.”
Osawaru, a politician representing the Egor Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), was elected in April 2023. She hails from Egor Local Government Area in Edo State.
