Hoodlums Set Anambra Rep’s House on Fire

The hoodlums were reported to have invaded the house at Ubahi-Mbosi, Ihiala Local Government Area, of Anambra State, at about 1am on Tuesday.

365Daily –  The country home of the member representing Ihiala Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Dr. Paschal Agbodike, has been torched by yet to be identified persons.

The hoodlums were reported to have invaded the house at Ubahi-Mbosi, Ihiala Local Government Area, of Anambra State, at about 1am on Tuesday.

They  shot sporadically before setting the fully-furnished five-bedroom duplex with four living rooms and a kitchen ablaze, 365Daily gathered.

However, no life was lost in the incident.

Confirming the attack, the lawmaker said he was in Abuja carrying out his legislative duties when he was informed of the development, adding that the criminals escaped before security operatives arrived the scene.

The state police spokesman, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, also confirmed the incident, saying that surveillance efforts are in place in the area.

Ikenga said, “The area has been condoned and security operatives have been deployed in the area and they are assessing the situation. There is ongoing surveillance by the operatives.”
