365Daily – The Zone 13 Police headquarters in Ukpo, Anambra State has been attacked by hoodlums who razed down the structure, with 2 officers reportedly dead.
This development has heightened the tension in the South-East over consistent attacks on security officers and facilities in the region in recent times.
Early reports indicated that not less than four vehicles were razed before fire fighters could put out the inferno.
On April 5, 2021, unknown gunmen unleashed terror in Owerri, the Imo State capital, setting free inmates at the Nigeria Correctional Facility and burning down the entire compound.
The assailants also attacked the headquarters of Nigeria Police Force, Imo State Command, setting it ablaze.
On Sunday night, three persons were allegedly killed in Awka, Anambra State, including a fitness instructor, according to published reports.
The incident reportedly occurred at Ifite, Awka South local government area, while the other person was killed at Unizik junction.
