It has been reported early Monday morning that unknown gunmen have attacked the Owerri Correctional Facility in Imo State, setting free all the inmates and burning down the entire compound.
365Daily learnt from Channels Television that the assailants also attacked the headquarters of Nigeria Police Force, Imo State Command, setting it ablaze.
