365Daily – Another member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Suleiman Aliyu (Lere Federal Constituency, Kaduna State), has been reported dead.
The 4th member to die in 3 months, he was 53.
The deceased lawmaker died on Tuesday afternoon, April 6, 2021, at Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital, Kaduna State.
A report by Daily Nigerian said he died after a brief illness.
It added that the deceased had recently won his case at the Court of Appeal which reinstated him as both the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and the winner of the February 23, 2019 House of Representatives election for Lere Federal Constituency.
Three days ago, on the 3rd of April, the House lost one of its members, Hon. Haruna Maitala, in a car crash which also claimed the lives of his son and aides who were travelling with him.
He represented Jos North/Bassa Federal Constituency of Plateau State in the House of Representatives.
