Atlanta-based Edo prince sprayed dollars in party before his kidnap, murder (Video)

A video has emerged showing Prince Dennis Abuda spraying dollars at an event in his village in Fugar before he was kidnapped and killed has gone viral.

He was murdered along Benin bypass enroute Lagos for a return flight to Atlanta after a Toyota Sienna with registration number, LAGOS, SMK 606 GQ, conveying him and some family members was ambushed by unidentified gunmen.

An Edo prince, Eloniyo Dennis Abuda, was kidnapped on Saturday, January 30, 2021, and his decomposing body later discovered in a forest.

The kidnappers, reportedly demanded N10 million ransom but killed him after collecting N3 million for his release.

On Wednesday, February 3, Edo State Commissioner of Police, Philip Ogbadu, led some police operatives to the forest along the Benin bypass, in search of his killers.

He was reportedly shot by his abductors after he slumped while being forced to march into the forest.

The identities of the others who were also abducted are David Oghieakhe, Richard Bologi and Mrs Comfort.

They were released on Tuesday after an undisclosed ransom was paid.

Police spokesperson in the state, Chidi Nwabuzor, later said the police found the abductors in the forest, with one killed during exchange of gunfire with the police, while three others were apprehended.

His family member was quoted as saying the deceased was killed after he got exhausted and could not walk any further with his abductors.
