Kwara records 38 cases of COVID-19, discharges 101 patients

The Government of Kwara State has announced 38 new COVID-19 cases and the discharge of 101 patients who tested negative twice to the virus.

Chief Press Secretary to the state Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulEazaq and Spokesman of the Technical Committee on COVID-19, Mr Rafiu Ajakaye, made this known in a statement issued on Tuesday in Ilorin.

He said the new figures raised the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 1551, with 1,382 patients discharged and 33 deaths recorded.

“As at 9:00a.m on Tuesday, the number of active cases is 136 and 1,382 patients have so far been discharged and 33 deaths recorded,” said Ajakaye.
