The Serving Councillors for Renewed Hope has met with the leadership of the CityBoy Movement as part of efforts to strengthen grassroots mobilisation and consolidate support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general election.
The strategic meeting, held at the Secretariat of the CityBoy Movement, brought together leaders of both organisations to explore ways of deepening their collaboration and expanding political engagement at the grassroots.
According to a post shared by the All Progressives Congress (APC), the delegation of the Serving Councillors for Renewed Hope was led by its National Secretary, Hon. Frank O. Ebere Njoku.
He was accompanied by the group’s Deputy National Coordinator (South), Hon. Councillor Muheeb Kehinde Abiola; Deputy National Coordinator (North), Hon. Councillor Samaila Abdurrasak; and other serving councillors.
The CityBoy Movement was represented by its Director General, Hon. Francis Shoga, while the National Coordinator of the Serving Councillors for Renewed Hope, Hon. Tosin Odufuwa, who also serves as the National Secretary of the CityBoy Movement, was also in attendance.
The Serving Councillors for Renewed Hope, a coalition comprising members of the National Councillors Forum of Nigeria and the Progressive Councillors Forum of Nigeria, said the engagement was aimed at reinforcing its commitment to President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and supporting his bid for re-election in 2027.
During the meeting, participants discussed strategies for improving coordination between the two groups, expanding voter outreach and strengthening political structures across communities.
The organisations also resolved to enhance collaboration in the planning and coordination of campaign activities, while developing stronger grassroots networks capable of mobilising voters and encouraging greater participation in the electoral process.
The meeting is part of broader efforts by pro-Tinubu political groups and grassroots organisations to build stronger support networks and consolidate the President’s political base ahead of the 2027 general election.
