Uzodimma sworn in for second term as Imo governor

Uzodinma was sworn in on Monday at Dan Ayiam Stadium in Owerri, the Imo State capital.

365Daily – Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has been sworn into office for a second term.

He was declared the winner of the November 2023 Imo State Governorship election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), beating his closest rival, Sen. Sam Anyanwu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Uzodinma was sworn in at 3:24 pm on Monday at Dan Ayiam Stadium in Owerri, the Imo State capital.

In attendance at the event was President Bola Tinubu; ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo; Senate President Godswill Akpabio; Speaker Tajudeen Abbas and other APC chieftains.
