365Daily – Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has boasted that nobody can sack him from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, because when the party was in dire need, his opponents jumped out, but he (Wike) remained in the party to keep it alive.
Wike said this during the flag-off of Mgbuodohia Road at Obio/Akpor local government area of the State on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.
He vowed to continue making life miserable for the PDP unless his demand for the sacking of Senator Iyorchia Ayu is carried out.
He dared the PDP to take any action against him and see what will happen to the party.
According to him, what is happening in the PDP right now is an introduction to trouble, and taking any action against him would spell doom for the party.
Recall that five aggrieved governors; Nyesom Wike, Seyi Makinde, Samuel Ortom, Okezie Ikpeazu and Ifeanyi Ugwu in their group popularly known as G-5 had maintained that Ayu must be sack from heading the party before there would be peace.
