Group commends judiciary for rejecting FG’s extradition suit against Kyari

That Nigeria’s independence is underpinned by western influence and neocolonialism, that Nigeria’s judicial system assumed watermelon by its feet, that we are still inferior despite our sovereignty and the advent of giant in Africa

A group, The Nigerian Youth Vanguard, has commended the Judiciary for dispensation of justice and the recent judgment delivered by the federal high court judge on the Federal Government’s application to extradite DCP Abba Kyari.

The group in their statement while briefing the press after the judgement delivered by Justice Iyang Ekwo, of the Federal High Court stated that the Judiciary has lived up to its expectation as the hope of the oppressed and common man.

“The Judiciary has live up to its expectation as the bastion of equity and trust , have rightly proven that he that comes with equity must come with clean hands and that equity cannot suffer the wrong to be without remedies.”

While reacting to the judgement Mu’aweya Jimoh, the leader of the group also commended the team of lawyers led by Barrister Hamza N. Dantiye for sustaining their efforts to ensure justice is delivered.

The group also lamented that the travail of the suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari, called for sober reflection as the embattled officer, according to the group, has made a personal sacrifice in the struggle to rescue Nigerians and Nigeria from kidnapping and emerging crimes.

“With certainty, DCP Abba Kyari is a well-known police officer in Nigeria for his security strategy and commitment in the active service to secure Nigeria and its territory. He has received numerous meritorious awards for his performance, including: the Presidential Honouring Award in 2017, rapid promotion by the Police Service Commission in 2015, 2017, and 2020 respectively; The Nigerian National Assembly Merit Award in 2020; and The International Merit Award by Britain, among others.

According to history, DCP Abba Kyari and his team mates worked tirelessly to apprehend many kidnappers, armed robbers, cybercriminal, Yahoo’s Boyz, notorious criminals, drug barons, and oil thieves in Nigeria, including Evans the notorious kidnapper and his gangs, Wadume and his gangs, and many others, to name a few.

“The arrest of the yet-to-be-solved Nigeria fraudster known as Hushuppi and his connection to Abba Kyari was a sad event intended by certain individuals to tarnish his reputation and undermine his credibility by the American government due to its political alliance with enemies within Nigeria.

“Today has made history, reaffirming the sovereignty and the Nigerian judicial system to be reckoned with in the world in the near future. The position of the judge who presided over the judgement shows that Nigeria has proven beyond reasonable doubt of its position in the communities of the nation that it has come of age.”

The group said that the application to extradite the embattled DCP Abba to the US for the trump charges is an indication that the country is still under the yoke of imperialism.

”That Nigeria’s independence is underpinned by western influence and neocolonialism, that Nigeria’s judicial system assumed watermelon by its feet, that we are still inferior despite our sovereignty and the advent of giant in Africa”.

The group further stated while listing the benefits of the judgement that it is not only a victory for DCP Abba, but among other benefits portrays Nigeria as an independent Nation in the comity of Nations.

”We are delighted by the outcomes of the judgement and judicial system of Nigeria, the judge who presided over these rulings, and the Nigerian government for not allowing international laws to strive and wean our domestic laws.”
