365Daily – Former Governor of Osun State a.d Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, had denied issuing a cryptic message on the defeat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Gboyega Oyetola, in the Oyo election hours after it was posted on his social media accounts.

Oyetola was defeated by ex-Senator Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who is a younger brother to Isiaka Adeleke, the first Governor of the state.

The Interior Minister’s Twitter and Facebook Pages had been updated with a message which stated: “This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men – (Daniel 4:17).”

But hours later, media aide to the Minister, Sola Fasure, in media advise posted on the same pages, urged the public to ignore the earlier reaction as it was “unauthorised.”

It read: Ignore unauthorised message posted on Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola’s social media pages.
