4 ships with petrol, others waiting to berth at Lagos ports

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) on Tuesday said four ships that had arrived the ports were waiting to berth with petrol and containers.

The NPA in its ‘Daily Shipping Position said that another 20 ships has arrived the Lagos Port discharging fuel and others.

It said the ships were discharging bulk wheat, general cargo, containers, bulk salt, bulk sugar and frozen fish.

Meanwhile, 20 other ships also laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods were expected to berth between May 24 and June 5.

It indicated that the ships contained general cargo, frozen fish, bulk sugar, container, bulk wheat, truck and butane gas.
