365Daily – Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajiuba, has obtained the All Progressives Congress (APC)’s 2023 presidential nomination form, 365Daily can authoritatively report.
He is the first aspirant to purchase the forms.
It was gathered that Project Nigeria Foundation paid the N100 million Nomination and Expression of interest forms fees for Nwajiuba.
The APC had pegged the cost of its presidential expression of interest and nomination forms at N100 million.
This elicited public uproar, as many people consider the cost as outrageous considering the economic situation in the country.
With this development, Nwajiuba, a sitting Minister, has proven that his presidential ambition is serious.
Nwajiuba, a known ally of President Muhammadu Buhari, is from Imo State.
APC had earlier zoned its presidential slot to the southern part of Nigeria amid a raging agitation for the South East, where Nwajiuba hails from, to produce the next candidate.
