Elumelu lauds Nigeria’s creatives sector as he parties with Davido, Kelechi Iheanacho, others in London

365Daily – Prominent entrepreneur and Chairman of the United Bank of Africa (UBA) and Heirs Holdings Group, Tony Elumelu, has described the Nigerian creative sector as global success story after attending Nigerian popular musician, Davido’s show at the popular 02 Arena, London, United Kingdom.

Elumelu, who was accompanied to the concert by his daughter, revealed that they partied with the duo of Super Eagles and English Premiership footballers, Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi, among others.

Writing on his Twitter account on Monday, March 7, 2022, the founder of Tony Elumelu Foundation enthused: “Had a nice time at @The02 on Saturday at @Davido’s concert with my daughter, some powerful women in the #HHGroup and of course, senior men @67Kelechi and @ndidi25.”

According to him, “The 20k arena was filled up, the same arena where @wizkidayo’s concert got sold out within minutes for 3 days. The Nigerian creative sector has such a global coverage and appeal, that it is now one of our strongest exports and brand projection.

“Our creatives are strongly contributing to the economic development of Nigeria – young Nigerians are generally talented and hardworking. I’m optimistic that with the right leadership, we will overcome poverty and joblessness.”
