365Daily – President Muhammadu Buhari has signed the Electoral Act Amendment Bill 2022 into law.
A presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad, broke the news on Twitter on Friday, February 25, 2022.
“BREAKING: President Muhammadu Buhari has signed the Electoral Act Amendment Bill 2021 into law,” his tweet read.
The ceremony, which took place at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, was witnessed by top government dignitaries, including the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo; Senate President, Ahmad Lawan and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila.
