365Daily – Candidate of the Zenith Labour Party, ZLP, in the just concluded Anambra State governorship election, Chief Obiora Okonkwo, has congratulated the winner of the poll and candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo on his victory.
In a letter personally signed by Okonkwo and addressed to Soludo on Thursday, November 11, 2021 titled ‘congratulations on your election’, the Zenith Labour Party candidate wished Soludo success when he superintends over the affairs of Anambra.
According to him, “I heartily congratulate you on your victory in the just concluded Anambra Governorship Election held on November 6, 2021.
“From our side, we submit to the superior will of the Almighty God because like I always said, God gives power to whom he will.
“As you know, I went into the governorship race not to satisfy any personal want or make up for any deprivation. My interest was for the greater good of Anambra people, who are disappointed with the failure of government and the dearth of infrastructure over the years. It is my view that our state deserves much more than it has had in governance and resource management.
“Our people have, for long, been deprived the sweet benefits of purposeful leadership. They suffer the consequences of the mismanagement of their commonwealth and as such, they look forward to a redemptive visionary. While I wish you the best, I pray that the Almighty God will bless you with the strength, wisdom and the right mindset to change the narrative and lead the people of our great state into a new era that will cause an improvement in our human, social and political development index.
“Odenigbo, be assured of my unalloyed and prayerful support always”, Okonkwo said.
