Nollywood actress, Ani Amatosero has threatened to beat Big Brother Naija former housemate, Wathoni should they bump into each other one -on-one following Wathoni’s recent comment about the movie industry that has sparked an uproar on social media.
Wathoni asserted that she has not considered taking acting as a profession because, in Nigeria, it is not about talent but the physical features of the lady that makes an actress thrive in the business, hinting that one has to exchange her body for roles.
She made this known after a fan asked her why she cannot take acting as a profession during an interactive ‘Question and Answer’ session with her fans.
She wrote:
“I have and so many times even… But in this part of the world, your body is what helps you in that industry, unfortunately.”
Reacting to this, Ani Amatosero revealed that she had once featured Wathoni in one of her movies, but sadly the reality TV star couldn’t carry out her lines properly.
Posting a photo of Wathoni, Amatosero wrote:
“Wathoni Ayansi (if u like block me I will put ur full names since I can’t tag you) e be like say you dey mad. You dey ment? I can’t believe some actors have really not replied her. I just read your post now. I don’t understand you. The movie you came to Asaba to shoot, Atleast I met you at my film house, who slept with you on that set B4 you got the role? You dey wine me ni? And see the kind of picture you post on your wall. What is the difference between your post and the picture you have in your head about actors? What impression are you giving to new actresses? Or women who really want this as a career? You that could not carry lines, na big brother them dey do for nollywood? Who be this sef? Una go just open mouth waaaaaa. if you reply me I sure say I fit beat you, me and you no kuku tall sef.”
