365Daily – Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State has stated that he arrested 19 people at a joint in Abakaliki, the state capital, for rumour mongering over the death of his late commissioner for Infrastructure, Engineer Fidelis Nweze King.
The Governor said this during a service of songs organised by the state in honour of the late commissioner, which was held in Abakaliki on Friday, September 24, 2021.
The obviously angry Governor Umahi said God has not told him to forgive those that pointed accusing fingers concerning the circumstances surrounding the death.
He said he won’t release the suspects until after the burial service of Nweze before they would be charged to court so as to explain what they know about who killed Engineer Fidelis Nweze.
