APC sets up National Reconciliation Committee comprising Adamu, Akume, Dogara

…State congresses scheduled for October 2

365Daily– The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the composition of a National Reconciliation Committee for the Party.

This is just as it disclosed that State Congresses of the party will hold on October 2, 2021.

National Secretary of the Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC), Sen. John James Akpanudoedehe, made this known in a statement issued on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.

He said the Caretaker Chairman of CECPC, Governor Mai Mala Buni, had approved the committee to comprise Sen. Abdullahi Adamu as Chairman and Otunba Moses Alake Adeyemo as Secretary.

Members are Sen. George Akume, ex-Governor Sullivan Chime, H.E Ali Saad Birnin Kudu, ex- House of Representatives Speaker, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara, Alh. Suleiman Argungu, Dr. Mrs. Oluranti I. Adebule and Dr. Mrs. Beta Edu.

Akpanudoedehe said the date for the inauguration and terms of reference for committee will be communicated.

Earlier, the CECPC announced that it had chosen October 2, 2021, as the date for its state congresses.

The party also added that sale of nomination forms to interested party members will commence on Wednesday September 15, 2021.

This was disclosed on Monday, September 13, 2021, by Akpanudoedehe in a terse statement.

He advised all interested aspirants to purchase their forms in the various state APC Secretariats and in the unlikely event that they were denied, to approach the National Headquarters to obtain same.

The party held its ward congresses on July 31 and local government congresses on September 4.
