365Daily –  Former Vice President and Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the 2019 general election, Atiku Abubakar, has set up a technical committee to deliberate on and promote his candidacy for the 2023 presidential election, 365Daily has learnt.

Our correspondent gathered that the technical committee, which is to act as a think tank consisting of esteemed professionals and reputable individuals across the country, is to be headed by Raymond Dokpesi, founder of Daar Communications.

The inaugural meeting of the committee took place on Sunday, September 12, in Abuja.

One of the committee’s document seen by this medium disclosed that committee is made up of well wishers and supporters of the ex-Vice President who they said has made significant contributions to entrenching democratic governance in Nigeria between 1999 and 2007.

Atiku, who was the candidate of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the 2019 election, has shown a strong interest in the 2023 presidential bid.

He recently called for the restructuring of the country, pointing out that the unitary foundation upon which Nigeria has been running on has not yielded much change.
