Gunmen suspected to be bandits have again attacked a community in Katsina State, kidnapping four children of a village head.
It was gathered that the gunmen stormed Sabuwar Kasa village in Kafur Local Government Area of the state in the early hours of Monday and took away Alhaji Hamza Umar’s children.
It was also learnt that Umar, the village head of Sabuwar Kasa, is also the head of Local Government Administration in Funtua Local Government Council of the North-West state.
The police command is yet to confirm the incident.
Katsina State has in recent weeks witnessed a shift in the kidnapping pattern as gunmen now target wives, children and relatives of political office holders.
