Police intercept herder moving ammunition to Jos

365Daily  –  A fulani herder has been intercepted on a motorcycle with over 200 rounds of ammunition by operatives of the Nigerian Police in Akwanga, Nasarawa State.

365Daily gathered that the suspect simply identified as Likita was apprehended by the Joint Task Force (JTF) in synergy with officers of the Federal Road Safety Corps.

Likita confessed he is heading to Jos, Plateau State.

Other members of his gang numbering six are already on their way, he added.

The suspect is currently under the custody of the Force in the area.
