For generations, one man in the centre of human discussion is Jesus Christ.
He is the totality of God’s response to the need of mankind. He is the beginning and the end of all other discussion.
Jesus is the message
Jesus is the gospel
Jesus is the product
Jesus is the reason
Jesus is the brand
Jesus is the one and only from God, the owner of the Kingdom.
The Kingdom of God has nothing to “sell”, advertise, project, display, announce, share or manifest to the world – except Jesus!
The message of the Kingdom is Jesus. He is the gospel of the Kingdom. That is the gospel expected of every Christian, Pastor, General Overseer, Bishop, Teacher, Evangelist, Apostle, and Prophet to preach with authority and power.
Jesus Himself when he was on earth preached the gospel of the Kingdom.
Mathew 4:23,
“And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom,…”
To preach the gospel of the Kingdom is to ensure God’s will and desire on earth comes to pass. That is the only message we are called, sent and permitted to preach, not politics, not money, not hatred, not greed, not false doctrine.
To do otherwise is to lose the track of eternal assignment. So keep your focus on the Kingdom and the message.
These days we have so many gospels flying everywhere that are of the Kingdom and related to Christ. But the gospel we have been commissioned to preach is the gospel of the kingdom. (Matthew 4:17).
Don’t change the message
Don’t confuse people
Don’t bow to pressure
Don’t be derailed with ephemerals.
Don’t compromise the gospel because of gain, popularity, attention or media accolade.
Preach, teach and spread the gospel only, nothing more. Any other message is fraud, deception and counterfeit. Never attempt to please people who hear you always. Never simplify, standardize or glamourise the gospel for ‘mass consumption’.
The gospel of the Kingdom is not American gospel. It is not Nigerian gospel. It is not the gospel of money. It is not the gospel of hate and rumour. It is not not acquisition of titles and properties. It is not deception and fake prophesies, just to keep body and soul.
The gospel of the Kingdom is the gospel of redemption, righteousness, hope, good news, forgiveness, the finished work of Christ, love, power, healing and repentance.
That is the gospel Jesus enjoined us to preach and spread. “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” Matthew 24:14
The gospel of the kingdom is not complicated it is only those who are complicated that are complicating it.
We have no other message to preach except the message of Christ. He is the message and we are the messenger. And the messenger must not be greater than the message.
The gospel itself is Jesus and the kingdom is where He reigns from. Halleluyah!
