A local security personnel attached to the Nigerian Embassy in Germany, Mr Martins Oni, has  been fired from his duties after an investigation found him guilty of sexual abuse and other criminal activities.

Recall that in November, 365Daily reported and posted a viral video of Oni caught pants down in a hotel room with one of his victims, with the ambassador of Nigeria to Germany, Hon. Yusuf Tuggar, ordering his suspension and opening an investigation into allegations of sexual abuse and other criminal activities against him.

Among other allegations which nailed Oni was the one made by someone in the video who accused him of coercing women for sex in exchange for passport renewals.

In a statement issued on Tuesday by the embassy, it was disclosed that the probe committee found Oni guilty of the allegations and recommended his sack.

While stressing its zero-tolerance policy towards all abuses of office, and especially sexual misconduct, the embassy stated, “The Investigation Committee interviewed Mr Oni and other witnesses as part of a thorough examination of these very serious charges.

“It concluded that Mr Oni was culpable and in violation of all the relevant codes.

“As a result, Mr. Martins Adedeji Oni’s contract with the Embassy as a Local Staff has been terminated.”
