Babawuro Tofai, the brother of the minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Alhaji Sabo Nanono, has been kidnapped at his family house in Tofai village, Gabasawa Local government area, Kano State.
The incident which occurred at 1:00 pm on Monday was confirmed by the personal assistant to the Minister, Umar Wali.
He said, ‘’Before abducting Babawuro Tofai, a young boy in the house was also beaten and he sustained a fracture in the course of the attack.’’
The police is yet to make an official statement on the incident.
