FIFA has handed a 5 year ban on the head of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and Vice President of FIFA, Ahmad Ahmad, from all football-related activities for financial misconduct.

Ahmad, a 60 year old Madagascan, was campaigning to be re-elected for four more years as the head of African soccer. He has been the president of the Confederation of African Football since 17, March 2017.
