365Daily – A Rivers State Magistrate Court has ordered that a member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Farah Dagogo, be kept in custody till May 9.
Dagogo is a Rivers State governorship aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The Lawmaker was arraigned on Friday, April 29, 2022, on charges of conspiracy and cultism.
He was arrested on Thursday, April 18, 2022, during a screening exercise at the PDP Secretariat in Port Harcourt.
The previous day, Governor Nyesom Wike ordered the police to arrest him for allegedly hiring cultists to disrupt an ongoing screening exercise at the state PDP Secretariat.
However, the Media Aide to the Lawmaker, Ibrahim Lawal, said the allegation against his boss is untrue.
