A group, Coalition for Goodluck Jonathan 2027 has expressed its gratitude and excitement to former President Goodluck Jonathan on joining the 2027 presidential race, saying that Nigeria has found the silver lining that would change the national political trajectory, restoring a democracy that is humane, reasonable and inclusive.
According to the group, Nigerians have been in despair and despondency with the controversial happenings on the national political stage with the array of lackluster presidential candidates that have been parading the space and sensing the national pulse Goodluck Jonathan has chosen to stand up and change the narrative.
“Hope has come. Until now Nigerians have been in hopeless as to what comes in 2027 with the calibre of politicians putting themselves up for the highest office in the land but all that has changed now with the bold and colourful entry of Goodluck Jonathan into the race. We thank him for this bold step.
“Now is the time for him, he is matured, experienced and exposed. He knows what is to be done and how he is done.
