PMAN FCT extends warm congratulations to Diana Paul and acknowledge her as a symbol of inspiration within the music community in the FCT

The Performing Music Employers Association of Nigeria, PMAN, FCT Chapter, on Thursday, honoured a young Nigerian lady, Ms. Diana Paul Mary who attempted to break 150 hours Guinness World Record of the longest single singing artiste.
Diana Paul who attempted to break 150 hours singing marathon and ended up after 107 hours was nevertheless recognized and awarded the PMAN FCT.
Speaking at a press conference in Abuja, governor of the PMAN in FCT, Mr. Sydney Jack Asowari, popularly known as Sydney Sparrow, said Diana Paul is a symbol of inspiration within the music community in the FCT and therefore ought to be accorded the honour and warm reception into the PMAN family.
According to him, “The Performing Music Employers Association of Nigeria, FCT Chapter, is glad to announce the reception of Diana Paul who recently undertook a remarkable endeavour to break the Guinness World Record for the longest single singing marathon of 150 hours. Diana Paul was able to do 107 hours. She is extra ordinarily dedicated to the talent”.
“In recognition of her feat, the PMAN FCT extends warm congratulations to Diana Paul and acknowledge her as a symbol of inspiration within the music community in the FCT”.
Sydney Jack said her commitment in achieving greatness, which knows no bound is a testament to the spirit of the Nigerian artiste.
“On behalf of PMAN FCT Chapter, we want to present this certificate of special recognition to Diana Paul. She has done so well in making us proud. The whole PMAN executive and the entire musicians in the FCT are proud of you.
“I want to say, as the PMAN Governor FCT, duly elected, within the powers bestowed on me, my deputy and the whole executive, we pronounce Diana Paul as the first and the highest single artiste standing singing in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Congratulations to you and you are welcome to PMAN”, he said.
Speaking in appreciation of her recognition, Ms. Diana Paul Mary expressed gratitude to the members of PMAN in the FCT for according her the honour, and revealed that she would have loved to accomplish her 150 hours dream, but had to give up over health issues.
“I want to say a big thank you to His Excellency the Governor of PMAN in the FCT and all the members of the executive, I appreciate you for the award.
“When I applied for Guinness World Record, I had three things in mind to accomplish: first, is that I wanted to have an experience of worshiping God for a long period of time, to throw myself out there to the public that there is Paul Diana in existence, and to accomplish a record title.
“I couldn’t get a record title, but I am so happy that I achieved the other two. Today I am sitting here with fine people, men of integrity, men of power, men of caliber, and I can only say thank you Jesus”.
