A non-governmental organization, M TECH Foundation, has issued no fewer than 400 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, forms to orphans and widows of Kebbi extraction with an all-expense-paid education scholarship to some brilliant orphans selected across the state.
The Jega based philanthropist and chairman of the foundation, Alhaji Manir Musa, said “The youths, selected for the scholarship are mostly orphans who are brilliant but lack the financial muscles to pursue their educational careers in higher institutions in the country hence the reason to come to their aid to assist them accualise their dreams”.
He added that, to further encourage them, the foundation has set up a UTME mock center to acquaint them with computer skills in order to successfully write the computer-based examinations saying those successful would get all-expense-paid scholarship in their chosen university or any tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
