365Daily – The Nigeria Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC) on Friday disclosed that the package for the 2023/2024 main pilgrimage to Rome and Greece will cost three million naira.
The Director and Head of Media and Public Relations, Celestine Toruka, made this known on Friday in a press statement.
Toruka said all chairmen and secretaries of all the States Christian Pilgrims Welfare Boards have been notified that the exercise would commence at the end of January, in addition to the cost, via a letter dated December 28, 2023.
The commission, in the letter, puts “the pilgrimage cost to Rome and Greece at N3,000,000 per pilgrim.
It disclosed that “the amount covers return flight, hotel accommodation, three-course meal per day, and tours of holy sites in both Rome and Greece in Executive luxurious buses for six nights and seven days,” excluding traveling allowances.
While urging states that had previously paid for pilgrimage to Israel and Jordan to make up the difference n the payment to enable them participate in the pilgrimage to Rome and Greece, it added that payments must be made before services are rendered on or before the last day of January 2024.
