Veteran Nollywood actor Zack Orji is reported to be in a very critical condition at the Intensive Care Unit, ICU, of the National Hospital Abuja after he was said to have slumped inside toilet.
According to report, Orji has been weak for some weeks before he was rushed to the hospital.
Zachee Ama Orji, born in Libreville, Gabon, in 1960, is a Nigerian actor, director, producer, and filmmaker. He is a graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
Having grown up in Cameroon, Benin and Togo he speaks both English and French fluently. His first movie was in 1991 and was entitled Unforgiven Sin.
The actor in July 2022 publicly declare his support for the candidacy of the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential flag bearer, Bola Tinubu who was later declared winner of the poll by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
The actor said that having lived in Lagos for over 40 years, he knows that Mr Tinubu is a chief crusader for the consolidation of democracy in Nigeria.
He is an indigene Amata Mgbowo in Awgu local government area Enugu state and before his big break into Nollywood, had started acting from a tender age. As a young boy, Zack participated in several drama clubs activities while also being featured in several stage plays.
