A political strategist and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Jerry Nwohu, has congratulated Governor Hope Uzodinma, for his victory at the just concluded governorship election in Imo State, as he urged the Igbo to join hands with the centre in order to attract more developments to the South-east region.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Sunday, declared the incumbent Governor, Uzodinma, winner of the off-season election that held on Saturday, November 11, 2023, in Imo State.
In a statement in Owerri after the declaration of the election results, Dr. Nwohu, who’s also member of the APC Presidential Council for the Imo election, expressed gratitude for the collective efforts that contributed to a peaceful and transparent electoral process in Imo State.
According to him, “The success of this election is attributed to the diplomatic shuttle embarked upon by my team, engaging with key figures such as Chief Iwuanyanwu, respected traditional rulers, and participating in world media briefings.
