According to latest transfer market report, the Paris Saint-Germain attacker is being admired by the Premier League club.
Mbappe’s contract with the French club would expire next year, meaning that PSG must sell him in the current transfer window or risk losing their prized asset on a free transfer in 2024.
Many are of the opinion that Mbappe would be heading to the Spanish giant, Real Madrid. PSG are holding firm in their asking price for the player, but if that gets lowered, Madrid could make an offer this summer.
But if this doesn’t happen, it would open the door for other clubs. If a deal between Mbappe and Arsenal is struck, it would mark a sensational move for Mikel Arteta’s men.
But it’s believed in many quarters that they would be second-choice to Real Madrid and would have to hope that the LaLiga outfit somehow fail in their pursuit of the 24-year-old.
