365Daily – Former National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Victor Umeh, has dumped the party to join the Labour Party.

Umeh has subsequently picked the senatorial ticket of the party in his Anambra Central Senatorial District.

He recently contested for the same ticket in APGA and shockingly lost to Hon. Dozie Nwankwo.

Former Anambra state governor and vice presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2019 general elections, Peter Obi, recently resigned his membership of the party to join Labour Party, where he will be representing the party as candidate in 2023 presidential election.

Both Obi and Umeh were political allies before Obi left APGA for PDP after his two term tenure as governor of Anambra state.

365Daily findings also indicate that many more politicians from other political parties are set to join Labour Party in the coming days.
