365Daily – Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s 2023 support groups have been cautioned against the use of abusive language against other political interests, while canvasing support for the Vice President.

A number of support groups sympathetic to Osinbajo’s yet to be declared 2023 presidential ambition, have been canvasing support for him across the nation.

But a statement on Monday, January 17, 2022, titled ” A word of caution to the various Osinbajo support groups”
by Richard Akinnola, a lawyer, human rights activist and political strategist, on behalf of the PYO Think-Tank, urged the various groups to be decorous in their comments and activities in support of the Vice President.

Akinnola said, “Whereas a number of many support groups clamoring for an Osinbajo presidency have emerged;

“Whereas these groups act independently believing in the Osinbajo presidency;

“Take notice that in the course of campaigning for your preferred aspirant, no derogatory or disparaging statements against any politician or aspirant should be used.

“Professor Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, as an urbane and refined gentleman, would not and does not endorse such comments like “Nigeria is not for sale” et al.

“While we appreciate your zeal and commitment, please let things be done with decorum. God is in control. God bless you all.”
