365Daily– The mother of Abdulkarim Jamiu Asuku, the Chief of Staff to Kogi Governor , Yahaya Bello, has been abducted.
This is coming barely weeks after the state’s Commissioner for Environment, Adewale Omofaiye, escaped an attempted kidnap.
Mrs Seriya Raji, was taken after gunmen invaded her residence in Adavi Local Government Area of the State on Monday, December 13, 2021.
According to eyewitness reports, she was kidnapped in the night after her evening (Ishai) prayer in a mosque within the house located at Inese/Ovakere new layout in Nagazi community in Adavi LGA.
Her abductors, who were masked, said to be about 6 in number, whisked her away to an unknown location.
No contact had been made with the family at the time of filing this report and the Kogi State Police Command was yet to respond to the incident.
