Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City, Man Utd all win in Premier League

And that brings a close to another jam-packed day of action across the continent.

What a remarkable day for penalty fans! Four of the Premier League’s five matches today hinged on spot-kicks, with Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United all emerging triumphant thanks to them. Credit goes to Arsenal, who at least proved you could win without one.

But the big men came to the fore once more – Mohamed Salah, Jorginho, Cristiano Ronaldo. You know, the usual suspects.

Elsewhere, Bayern Munich opened up a six-point gap on Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga, and a draw against Venezia handed another blow to Juventus that they really didn’t need.

Ready to do it all over again? We’ll see you next time. Until then, thank you and good bye.
