PDP retreat for top leaders holds Tuesday

356Daily- The National Working Committee (NWC) elect of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, begin a retreat for top leaders of the party.

Tagged “Rescue and Rebuild Nigeria”, the event which will end on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, will hold in Abuja.

The Secretary-elect of the NWC, Sen. Sam Anyanwu, made this known in a public announcement made available to 365Daily on Sunday, November 21, 2021.

According to him, those invited to the retreat are members of the National Executive Committee (NEC), all Board of Trustees (BoT) members, all National Working Committee (NWC) members and all PDP state party chairmen.

Others are all PDP National Assembly members, all PDP Speakers and members of State Houses of Assembly, all PDP elected Council chairmen and all members of the newly elected National Working Committee.

“It is time for stock-taking, honest self assessment and bold decision taking,” Sen. Anyanwu said.

He added: “Let us discuss the major issues posing challenges to our national unity, peace and progress.”

The National Secretary-elect also stressed that PDP remains the last hope of rescuing and rebuilding Nigeria.
