Marital crisis: 2baba begs family, supporters to “stop the madness”

By Deborah Hassan

365Daily – Popular music artiste, 2Baba, also known as Innocent Idibia, has opened up on the crisis rocking his marriage, saying it is time for the madness to end.

He also added that he would not allow his marital issues to become a public discussion.

In a post on his Instagram page, the musician inferred that though it was wrong of his wife to have brought their disagreement to social media, he would not allow it become a free-for-all battle out of love or solidarity.

The Afrobeat singer’s wife, Annie Idibia, had, in a series of Instagram posts, accused him of spending nights with his baby mama, Pero, on the ground that he was visiting his kids in the United States.

She also added that his family members were aiding this behaviour because they don’t like her, leading to an exchange between them on various social media platforms.

Urging them to stop the madness, 2baba said: “I admit that bringing our personal issues on social media was not cool but I will not sit back and watch everybody have a free for all battle here in the name of love or solidarity. None of us is perfect.

“I will like to urge our families and supporters to stop the madness and the public to please respect our privacy and our kids, let us deal with our issues internally. I take god beg una.”
