2 Samuel 9:1
“And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may show him kindness…?”
Kindness is a charitable behaviour to do good; and be same to people in order to demonstrate God’s nature.
Everyday, we have opportunity to sow the seed of kindness into people around us, no matter how small the deed or gesture may appear.
Kindness is far above the expectation of money. It is offering yourself for tangible service and show of love, by putting a smile on someone’s face.
One act of kindness genuinely shown to people, can open and push you into uncharted circles of acceptance, open doors, blessings and breakthrough.
To sow the seed of kindness:
• Show interest in people around you; their lives and family irrespective of their faith.
• Demonstrate unconditional love to them, not religion and religious labeling.
• Help them perform a task that can make them happy and fulfilled.
• Reach out to them in giving – either in time, food, counselling, resources, clothing, platform or prayers.
• Speak lifting, liberating and hopeful words to them.
Mother Teresa of blessed memory once said, “Kind words can be short and easy to speak but their echoes are truly endless.”
• Look for people to impart
• Show little kindness
• Sow the seed of kindness.
Someone said, “Be kind to people on your way up, because you might need them on your way down”.
Sow the seed.
Keep sowing it
Don’t hold back.
As you sow the seed of kindness, may you also reap abundance of kindness from people you know; and don’t know, that will help and connect you to someone who will be used by God, to transform your life, family, business and ministry.
